A notarization is an assurance made by an impartial Commissioned Notary Public that:

• signature is genuine, 
• signer acted without duress or intimidation 
• the signer intended the terms of the document to be in full force and effect.

*Notably, many establishments offer free notary services for active members, including but not limited to local banks, public libraries and/or UPS locations. My services are best utilized for those who cannot access these facilities during regular business hours, i.e.: nursing home residents, hospitalized individuals, emergency situations, i.e. evening/weekend/holiday. 

For personal notarization services in the State of Michigan, the rate is $10 per notarial stamp. A convenience/travel fee is charged based on location, time and specific circumstances.
